Junior Designer

DESCRIPTION:

Empathy Lab, an interactive agency in suburban Philadelphia, is seeking Junior Designer for contract and full-time opportunities. Working under the supervision of the Creative Director, Junior Designers are responsible for look & feel exploration, conceptual and visual development, and final execution of design directions. In addition, they assist in asset creation and presentation preparation.

The ideal candidate will have creative flair and the willingness to expand their skill base to include design for static, dynamic and interactive websites and other projects. Qualified candidates have 0-2 years professional experience as well as formal design training with strong visual design, interaction design and typographical skills. An in-depth understanding of HTML and the capabilities of Web browsers is essential, and knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is required. Flash experience is a plus.

Interactive Art Director

DESCRIPTION:

Empathy Lab, an interactive agency in suburban Philadelphia, is seeking an Interactive Art Director for a full-time opportunity. The Art Director is responsible for concept development and the execution of creative deliverables. These responsibilities include creating and communicating concepts, implementing advertising/marketing strategies and developing interactive design solutions. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Art Director will work with and lead the creative team of designers, copywriters and other production specialists (Flash animators, audio designers, etc). The ideal candidate will be a design superstar with 5 years of experience in a digital strategy role with a strong creative background at a digital agency as well as formal design training with strong visual design, interaction design and typographical skills. Vice President, Integrated Marketing Strategy

Role Summary

Empathy Lab is seeking a VP of Integrated Marketing to lead integrated marketing solutions across multiple clients. We are seeking a collaborative, outgoing, creative leader. The VP of Integrated Marketing will be an expert in multi-channel marketing, possessing a broad set of media, marketing and management skills. Working closely with the respective Account Directors this position will have ownership and direct responsibility for all media-related initiatives. This individual will be responsible for the development of strategy and the writing of media plans to meet client’s marketing objectives and the subsequent performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a pioneering attitude, lead clients in establishing a vision for their integrated marketing initiatives, have experience in interactive and direct marketing and social media, have a working knowledge of analytics and be experienced in turning insights into strategic marketing plans. This role will be part of the core leadership team and reports directly to the CEO.

Core Responsibilities

As VP of Integrated Marketing, you will:
  • Serve as a senior leader for Empathy Lab and an emergent leader in the company who provides relevant, timely cross-media expertise

The Information Architect (IA) is responsible for all aspects of the user-centered design process, from user research through design implementation. This person will design, lead, and analyze user research activities and leverage the findings into cohesive site architectures, wireframes, and functional specification documentation for web sites and applications. Front End Developer

Empathy Lab is currently looking for experienced front end developers.

Duties:

  • Hand code HTML/DHTML/XHTML/CSS pages
  • Write object oriented Javascript/AJAX (Either JQuery or Prototype)
  • Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/HTML/XHTML pages
